THE ART OF BIBLE STORYING
This half-day workshop includes:

• Participate in a Bible Storying experience, rooted in the Hebrew tradition of storytelling, imaginative listening, careful observation and lively dialogue.
  
• Learn the distinctives of Storying and the necessary environment needed for this unique approach.
  
• Consider how Bible stories can guide us toward spiritual formation; shaping our theology, identity, beliefs and behaviors.
  
• Explore how Bible storying can be used with varied contexts and ages.

LEADING A STORYING DIALOGUE
(Prerequisite: the Art of Bible Storying Workshop)
This half-day workshop includes:

• Learn about the differences between a discussion and dialogue, and the environment needed for a meaningful dialogue about the Bible.
  
• Explore your own tendencies as a group leader, and focus on the skills needed to lead a guided dialogue.
  
• Discover how different kinds of intentional questions help guide learners toward deeper insights and connections.
  
• Lead an actual Storying dialogue group to help you build your confidence and skills.
  

NEW!! CREATING EFFECTIVE LEARNING ENVIRONMENTS
This half-day workshop includes:

• Explore how communication and learning is changing in our techno-consumer culture.
  
• Engage in hands-on learning activities that spark creative and practical ideas for your context.
  
• Consider how the process of experiential learning could guide your ministry and events.
  
• Dream and plan for how you can implement more effective ways of teaching and learning in your ministry.
  

HOST PROVISIONS:

If finances are an issue, please contact me and we will work together to make this workshop a reality.

• Minimum group size: 6 people.
  
• Host must provide for expenses: hotel for 2 nights, all travel expenses and meals (option: $45 daily food per diem).
  
• Suggested fee per workshop: $750 for a half day, $1250 for a full day.
